Built for Hamburg businesses — Mitte, Altona, Reeperbahn, the whole catchment.
Hamburg has roughly 6,500 agencies and freelancers fighting for web-design mandates, with HafenCity studios charging 180–220 €/h and Altona/Sternschanze shops doing the same job for 100–140 €/h. The output is mostly indistinguishable — gorgeous Webflow templates with a hero video of the Elbphilharmonie, a parallax shot of the Speicherstadt, and zero structured data. They look great in the pitch deck and rank for nothing. The Hamburg-specific fix: build the site for the multilingual reality of this city (Hamburg has the highest English-language workforce share of any German Bundesland outside Berlin), wire schema and hreflang from day one, and write copy that names the Bezirk and the buyer rather than describing the team.
The competitive split is brutal: HafenCity agencies sell brand-led "experience design" to Beiersdorf, Otto and Tchibo; Altona and Sternschanze studios sell Webflow rebuilds to startups; nobody serves the middle — the Mittelstand operator in Bahrenfeld, Eppendorf or Winterhude who needs a site that earns its budget back in 12 months. That's the gap. The local "Webdesign Hamburg ab 1.799 €" crowd ships fast but skips technical SEO, schema and analytics entirely, so the site never ranks. The high-end shops bake in design but treat SEO as a separate line item to be invoiced later. A single owner who ships speed-optimised, schema-baked, conversion-copywritten sites in 4–8 weeks at a fixed price has a clear lane in this market.
Most agency websites win design awards and lose conversions. The fix is structural — speed, schema, copy, internal linking — baked in from the first commit, not bolted on later.
Each one is a real piece of work — clickable for the deep detail.

A · BUCHHANDLUNGI'm Nestor. Web and software developer for 10+ years, based in Elmshorn, Germany, working in English, Spanish and German. For most of my career I built websites that looked great and did nothing. Pretty portfolio, quiet phone.
Somewhere along the way I realized every business I worked with had the same single problem: they needed more clients, constantly, or they died. So I stopped optimizing for beauty and started optimizing for that. When my clients grow, I grow with them. That's the whole model.
If you run a local service business and you're tired of paying for ads that disappear the second you switch them off — we should talk.
